- If you do not have a pin to the copier, please go to the LPL Konica Request Form and request a pin.
- Download the Windows driver from: LPL Computing Resources.
- Click on the zip file to unzip it, if needed.
- Double click on the installer: Setup64
- Click "Yes" or enter the administrator password when the "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" pops up.
- Check the box to accept the Software End User License Agreement, verify that “Install printers / MFPs” is selected, then click Next
- The installer will automatically search the network for the printer. If it is found click Next, but most likely this will not be the case. Click OK to dismiss the notification, then click on "Specify manually." and under Network select "IPv4, IPV6 Address/IP Hostname:". Enter “150.135.111.17” on the input field. Click "Next".
- The installer will find the printer, then display the Installation Summary. Review the settings (note that the model number displays differently than the actual printer model, c650 vs c450, but this is expected), then click Install
- Once the installation completes, click on the Property button
- Click Preferences…
- Click on the Basic Tab.
- Change the "Output Method" to "Secure Print". The User Settings dialog box may automatically pop up, or if it does not click on User Settings. Enter any short string you would like in the "Document ID" and/or "Password" field(s). Remember what you enter into these fields as you will later need to use them when retrieving documents from the copier. Many users choose to use their username and/or PIN from the copier in these fields but it is not required. Click OK when you are finished.
- Click on Authentication/Account Track and enter your pin number/account code (contact Business Office to get one) on the 'Password' field. Click on 'Verify' if you want to verify that your pin is correct. Then click 'OK'.
- When back to the 'Basic' tab, click 'Apply', then 'OK'
Congratulations !!! The printer has been installed.
